The most effective resource in holding an optimistic attitude towards my living adventure are my spiritual resources. To understand the incorporeal stage of God and how connection with God for guidance can become a spiritual resource, involves the rearranging of some of my basic ideas about God. When I recognise that I am truly a spiritual being living a human existence in a world destined to live out human desires and fragilities, I am in line with my spiritual resources, or strategic wisdom – resilience.
In recognising my own vulnerabilities and weaknesses at this time of world conflict, individual conflict with myself, relationship conflict with others, what are the lessons to be learned? For the world conflict I can only have good wishes, an honest heart and thoughts to bring light into the attitudes of people or their despair. And already we are seeing signs of more people wanting to express goodness and good outcomes and experiences in the face of multiple tragedies.
For individual situations that cause me conflict with myself, it requires a positive response when looking at them. Positive attitude means positive thoughts of how to deal with or manage them so as not to lose heart.
For relationship conflict with others, accepting things as they are and working with them, this is where I may need help. It is remembered that God is the wisdom of the wise, so then God knows where my strengths are and my resilience lies. I could develop a consultation process, a relationship. How to do that? Well, we have found meditation based on positive thinking of myself and others, in connection with God to be a good start. Or prayer in conversation with God seeking awareness of the best way to move forward. When my companion is God, I stand a good chance of making the right choices in learning how to deal with challenges – the greatest avenue of hope is then in my resilience.
I have inner resources waiting for recognition and authenticity and to become part of my eternal wisdom. Hope lives in an honest heart – such is life.
