I have been delighted to be part of the Interfaith Network for about 15 years.  It has been a gathering of spiritual leaders from many religions, fostering dialogue, harmony. gratitude and inspiration.

The Interfaith Network has brought about beliefs together; provoking mutual respect and shared values, not to compare or compete but to understand, appreciate and celebrate each other’s philosophies.

The collective impact has been created through the unwavering support of all its members, being able to listen to the voices of all faiths.  Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s life and teachings stand as a profound testimony to the unity of all faiths.  His universal message upholds the principle that all spiritual paths, when followed sincerely, lead to the same Divine Truth.

May we grow in compassion, understanding and religious unity.

Peace in the world can be achieved only when individuals recognise the oneness of humanity.

Being a member of the Dandenong Interfaith Network has enriched my understanding of different faiths, cultures and perspectives. It has given me the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds while working together to promote peace, respect and social cohesion within our community.

Kamlavathi Reddy, June 2026

Being an Interfaith Network member has broadened my perspective, fostering deep respect and
compassion for diverse beliefs while strengthening my own spiritual foundation. It has allowed
me to connect with others on a human level, surpassing differences to build meaningful
friendships. Furthermore, I have experienced the power of collective action, pooling resources to
tackle community issues. It is a rewarding experience that fights prejudices and builds inclusive
communities.
I have experienced meaningful community connections and learned authentic, diverse spiritual
practices directly from others. This experience has cultivated personal growth, increased my
compassion, and strengthened my own faith foundation through shared wisdom.

Key benefits gained are:
* Increased Understanding & Empathy
* Community Action & Unity
* Strengthened Social Connections
* Personal Growth & Knowledge
* Humanitarian Focus

Being part of the Interfaith Network is so beneficial, it lends the opportunity to meet with and get to know people from many Faiths and Spiritual Organisations.

One can be sure of a warm welcome, where respect is shown one for the other, where the outcome of working together can only be of a positive benefit to the Community as a whole, and beyond!
