IFN Opportunities

The Interfaith Network values the individual and collective contributions made by volunteers.

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities that align to your strengths and areas of interests for growth and development whilst making a positive contribution to the lives of others and the community.

IFN Volunteering opportunities include:

  • Short term projects in the areas of community development, social sciences and theology
  • Assisting with our community events such as our Annual Gathering
  • Volunteering alongside our staff and supporting the day-to-day operations of our office
  • Student Placements, towards the completion of your studies
  • Becoming a Tour Guide!

One of our most successful community initiatives in the City of Dandenong, we offer an amazing local learning experience by offering a welcoming experience alongside Faith Leaders to Places of Worship.

  • IFN – Volunteer Tour Guide Information Session, Wednesday, May  7th, 2025

Tours to Places of Worship are structured in such a way as to encourage and promote inclusion, understanding and respect of diverse faiths and cultures. Through participation in the Tours, the awareness raised, and the educational outcomes experienced will positively work towards developing a socially cohesive community and one that recognises and values the diversity of living, working, or visiting in the City of Greater Dandenong.
