Interfaith Network (IFN) On-Line Leadership Conversation Series 2026

With the assistance of a small grant from the City of Greater Dandenong, the IFN established the inaugural 2026 On-Line Leadership Conversation Series.  Given both the importance and impact of this initiative, it is the goal of the IFN to create the series annually.  IFN wishes to thank the four local Faith Leaders who participated in this initiative and as a viewer, we hope you enjoy what has been created.  In addition, IFN wishes to thank members, volunteers and staff who also gave of their time generously to support this initiative.

This initiative was created to engage local community leaders who reside, serve, work or who are connected to the City of Greater Dandenong with the objective of raising awareness and understanding around interfaith dialogue, leadership, service to others, shared values, such as inclusivity, respect and understanding.

As part of the signing of the 38^th Annual Signing of the Common Statement, this initiative was launched by IFN.

November 25th, 2025 – City of Greater Dandenong, Walk Against Family Violence

As part of the City of Greater Dandenong’s Walk Against Family Violence, a community led clip was created to raise awareness around family, domestic violence and how we as a community can support people at risk and or experiencing family, domestic violence,

Community leaders IFN President Mehtap Williams, IFN Member Father Jean Mawal and Jasbir Singh Suropada, IFN Vice-President, all participated in the creation of the clip.  Please click here to access to the clip.

November 20th, 2025 – Talking Faith Forum, Women, Faith and Service: Leading with Purpose

A collaboration between the City of Greater Dandenong Libraries and the Interfaith Network of the City of Greater Dandenong, over 30 people were in attendance for the interactive forum with 6 leading women from the Interfaith Network.
