Over 60 people attended the Monash Interfaith Gathering and Monash Libraries for a special NAIDOC Week event that honored the cultures, knowledge systems, and spiritual traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The NAIDOC theme for 2026 focused on “50 Years Deadly.” It marked a major milestone: 50 years since the first week- long NAIDOC celebrations. This theme served as a tribute to elders, artists, and communities who have sustained the movement for five decades.
IFN was honored to support, promote and attend this event and congratulates Monash Interfaith for a wonderful 2026 NAIDOC week event.
