Charles as Prince of Wales launched a major interfaith initiative for a call for all religions to unite “in faith in the integrity of life itself”.
Bishop McDonald of the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales Committee for other faiths agreed that relations between faiths are of crucial importance. Prince Charles was strongly supported by Christian, Jewish, Jain, Muslim, Bahai, Brahma Kumaris, Swaminaryan Mandir and Sevak Jatha faiths.
Anglican Bishop Jones says “that the future of the world depends on the mutual respect and understanding of faith communities”.
Pope Leo XIV has established interreligious dialogue as a way of life for the Catholic Church. He describes dialogue not as a tactic but as a journey of the heart.
King Charles’ HOPE and prayer relies on a strong interfaith believe that working together we can stem the beating of plowshares into swords.
Optimistic former nurse Archbishop Sarah Mullally will inspire HOPE and PEACE. She has committed to listening deeply aiming to be a bridge builder.
So we have a King, the Pope, Archbishops and major religious leaders believing in Interfaith.
But, we the ordinary people of the world also have the same hopes and dreams as those more exalted – for peace and happiness. Our hopes and dreams are the same as those we consider to be exulted and powerful.
Hope and the message the word sends belongs to us all and gives hope for the future.
