What Faith Leaders are saying about IFN’s Places of Worship Tours!

Working with the Dandenong Interfaith Network has been an incredible experience. Hosting their groups at St Kilda Shule to learn about Judaism has allowed for meaningful dialogue, mutual respect, and a deepened understanding between faiths. It’s inspiring to see people from diverse backgrounds engage with Jewish traditions, ask insightful questions, and appreciate our shared values. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important work and look forward to continuing these enriching exchanges that promote learning, unity, and respect among different faith communities.

Hosting school and public tours with the aim of fostering understanding and harmony among various religious communities is one of the duties of the Temple,” we place great importance in hosting tours.

Our temple has been a proud member of the Interfaith Network, contributing to over 30 years of interfaith dialogue and cooperation. As an active member of the Interfaith Network in the City of Greater Dandenong, our temple has been hosting tours from schools and the general public, and participating in various activities that promote understanding and harmony in our multicultural society.

Therefore, we greatly appreciate the role of the Interfaith Network in providing us with an opportunity to present to tour members some activities of our temple, and some beliefs and practices of the Vietnamese Buddhist community.
