IFN Volunteering opportunities include:

- IFN Executive Committee Treasurer (Voluntary)
IFN is now looking to appoint an experienced accounting professional for the position of Treasurer in the organisation.
Overview of Treasures Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of finances and financial controls for a charitable organization
- Active exploration of revenue streams to expand IFN’s reach within the City of Greater Dandenong
- Active engagement in compliance, strategic planning, risk management and budgeting
- Leadership of the IFN Finance, Risk and Audit Management (FARM) Committee
- Coordination with the Executive Officer, external auditor in preparation of key financial documents including the annual report
- Assisting other IFN Committee Members to understand the significance and implications of the financial information that is presented to the Executive Committee
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualifications
- Previous experience acting as Treasurer on NPF boards preferred
- Capacity to commit to an involvement of approximately 4 hours per month which includes attendance at the bimonthly Executive Committee meetings
To comply with regulations relating to Child Safe practices, Executive Committee Members, staff, and volunteers are required to hold a current Working With Children Certificate and a Police Check. Training in Child Safe practices is also provided.

Tours to Places of Worship are structured in such a way as to encourage and promote inclusion, understanding and respect of diverse faiths and cultures. Through participation in the Tours, the awareness raised, and the educational outcomes experienced will positively work towards developing a socially cohesive community and one that recognises and values the diversity of living, working, or visiting in the City of Greater Dandenong.
