Places of Worship Tours
A learning and connection experience like no other!
In collaboration with our Faith and Spiritual Leaders, the Interfaith Network offers a unique opportunity to visit local Places of Worship and connect with a Faith Leader and, or a Community Member from the visited place of Worship with the aim of discovering and learning something new of their:
- Values
- Beliefs
- Practices; and their
- Service and work undertaken within their local communities

Places of Worship to Visit
The following Places of Worship are part of the IFN Program. Each Tour offered can visit three Places of Worship.
Hinduism
Experience Hindu worship at a local temple, guided by a Hindu Faith Leader. Learn about vibrant rituals and cultural practices in the Hindu faith.
Brahma Kumaris
Visit a Brahma Kumaris centre to explore spiritual teachings and meditation practices with a Brahma Kumaris instructor.
Buddhism
Discover Buddhist practices at a local temple, led by a Buddhist monk. Experience the serene environment and learn about core Buddhist teachings.
Taoism
Explore Taoist beliefs at a Taoist temple, guided by a Taoist Faith Leader. Understand the principles of Taoism and its integration into daily life.
Sikhism
Visit a Gurdwara to learn about Sikhism from a Sikh Faith Leader. Experience the inclusive nature of Sikh practices and community-focused traditions.
Judaism
Explore Jewish traditions at a synagogue, with a Rabbi providing insights into Jewish customs, rituals, and community roles.
Islam
Visit a mosque and interact with an Imam. Gain understanding of Islamic practices, values, and community life through a guided tour and discussion.
Christianity
Experience Christian worship at a Church, led by a Christian Minister. Discover diverse practices and roles of various Christian denominations.
IFN Staff and Volunteer Tour Guides
Our IFN Staff and Volunteer Tour Guides are highly committed, experienced, and skilled individuals. In addition, our IFN Staff and Volunteers also hold a current Working with Children Check, have attended relevant Child Safe Training as well as First Aid Training.
