The Interfaith Network, our members and Faith Leaders were delighted to receive an invitation to attend and be part of the Mayoral election and celebrations. IFN congratulates Cr Sophie Tan (Noble Park Ward) on her election as Mayor and Cr Phillip Danh (Yarraman Ward) on being elected as Deputy Mayor. IFN also expresses their appreciation of outgoing Mayor Cr Jim Memeti (Dandenong Ward) for his leadership and commitment to the City of Greater Dandenong.
As a standing tradition, led by the IFN President, Mehtap Williams and supported by IFN members, the Common Statement was read at the election and in honoring the election of the Mayor and Deputy, the Common Statement was presented to the newly elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
