United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week 2017
Bright and early on Saturday morning, 4 February 2017, almost before the sun was up, over 70 people from various faith communities and neighbouring interfaith networks, members of the police force, community leaders and people working in the area of Family Violence began arriving for the Interfaith Network’s Sixth Annual Interfaith Breakfast held during United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week 2017. This was held at “The Castle”, Hemmings Park in Dandenong.

'The Welcome Tours' DVD Launch
On Thursday 17 November a special film, “The Welcome Tours” was launched by the Interfaith Network of the City of Greater Dandenong in the theatre of The Walker Street Gallery and Art Centre, Dandenong.
Multifaith Blessing of the Interfaith Office
In celebration and recognition that the Greater Dandenong Interfaith Network office had been open for a year, a “Blessing of the Interfaith Office” was held on Wednesday 7 September 2016.
Talking Faith? Forum - Judaism
Judaism was featured in the "Talking Faith?" Forum organised by City of Greater Dandenong Interfaith Network and Dandenong Library in their annual panel discussion to shine the light on major religions in order to promote dialogue, respect and understanding. Five panellists representing different streams and viewpoints were invited to answer questions that citizens of Dandenong, Victoria's most culturally and religiously diverse municipality wanted to know about Jews and their faith, beliefs and practises.
Promoting Equality and Respect: An Interfaith Collaboration on Preventing Family Violence
On Wednesday 30 September 2015, in partnership with the City of Greater Dandenong, the Interfaith Network held a public launch of a faith-based resource to prevent family violence in the community.

2015 World Interfaith Harmony Week Breakfast: Being Faithful In A Violent World

Since October 2010 when King Abdullah II of Jordan proposed to the United Nations that the first full week of February each year be World Interfaith Harmony Week, people involved in interfaith globally have been joining together to celebrate this week. The week is based on Love of God and Love of the Neighbour, or based on Love of the Good and Love of the Neighbour, each according to a person’s own religious traditions or convictions.

International Year of Forests: “Giving Shelter, Sustaining life” was the theme for this year’s Annual Gathering of the Interfaith Network – City of Greater Dandenong. At the Annual Gathering, faith and community leaders gather to renew their commitment to work together in promoting peace and harmony in the City of Greater Dandenong. This is a unique ceremony where the faith and spiritual diversity of the City of Greater Dandenong is celebrated.

Tours to Places of Worship: Half Day Forum

Interfaith Network Celebrates Twentieth Anniversary in 2009

In August 2009, the Interfaith Network will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The Network formalised its beginnnings at City Hall on 21 August, 1989 where leaders of faith communities signed a Common Statement making a personal commitment to the Mayor and Councillors of the day to work together for the promotion of harmonious relations in Springvale's multicultural, multi-faith community.
Multifaith Community Gathering

On Sunday 8th March 2009, the Interfaith Network of the City of Greater Dandenong in partnership with the City of Greater Dandenong, held a Multi-Faith Community Gathering for a time of prayer and reflection. The gathering, held in Dandenong Park, was organised in response to the terrible bushfires which devastated many communities in Victoria in February.

The Greater Dandenong Combined Schools' Interfaith Annual Gathering was well attended on 21 October in the Springvale Town Hall with some 900 students attending with fourteen schools taking part.
