On Tuesday 17 October 2023 the Annual Interfaith School Gathering was held at the Springvale Town Hall.
The theme was “The Magic Within”, referring to the 2023 United Nations theme for the year being millets, endeavouring to raise awareness of the multiple benefits of millets from nutrition and health to environmental sustainability and economic development.
The event commenced with Dave Dryden performing his didgeridoo and welcoming children onto the stage to help him set the tone of inclusiveness.
With the City of Greater Dandenong Council representative, Councilor Richard Lim OAM who delivered the Mayoral Speeach and all the Faith Leaders introduced to the schools in attendance, namely:

- Resurrection Primary School
It was an event filled with joy, song, dance and bands – all celebrating their Magic Within.
