On Wednesday the 22nd of October, The Interfaith Network held its Fourteenth Annual Gathering in the Drum Theatre Dandenong. It was a great honour and pleasure to have Cr Youhorn Chea present to receive the Common Statement.
The Annual Gathering included performances from the St John’s German Lutheran Church Choir, Springvale, the singing of sacred bhajans from the Sathya Sai Organisation and four schools (Killester College, Minaret College, St Anthony’s Primary School and Southvale Primary) again combined to bring the same special dramatic performance based around the United Nations theme “International Year of Languages: Speaking Words of Love” that was performed at the Schools’ Annual Gathering the previous day. The night was again one of celebration with a wonderful supper to conclude the evening.
