The Interfaith Network of Greater Dandenong held its 2021 Annual General Meeting on August 4th.

Due to COVID restrictions, the AGM had to be held over Zoom, but this didn’t stop us from hearing a great message on ‘Interfaith Education as Harm Prevention’ from our guest speaker – Dr Toni Pikos-Sallie.

Dr Pikos-Sallie is the current principal of Mt Hira College, a co-educational F-12 school with an Early Learning Centre, located in South East of Melbourne. Dr Pikos-Sallie has held various educational leadership and teaching roles across primary, secondary and tertiary educational settings in Australia and abroad. Dr Pikos-Sallie is a well-known advocate of multiculturalism and active presenter at various forums and events to promote cross-cultural understanding, social cohesion and harmony in Australia.
